Willow - Opens Autumn 2024

Willow is the newest hide in our portfolio and is situated on our new site on the West and North Yorkshire border between Junctions 33 & 34 of the M62.

Situated in area of rich scrubland and surrounded by Gorse, Bramble, Reed beds and of course Willows!  A warbler paradise this year alone we have recorded Cetti’s, Garden, Willow, Reed, Sedge, Black Cap & Chiffchaff all interspersed with the normal mix of garden type birds you would expect and a few you probably wouldn’t like the Yellowhammer & Red Legged Partridge.

Willow has the potential to throw up some interesting surprises as birds pass through on migration routes and over winter in the area.

We also have numerous Birds of Prey in the area surrounding the hide including Peregrine Falcon, Sparrowhawk, Barn Owl, Tawny Owl. Little Owl, Hobby, Kestrel & Common Buzzard – while we cannot guarantee they will show its always a possibility.

Willow is the very definition of a mixed species hide that can and will suprise you every day with something different!
